The Residential Planning Diploma program at The Art Institute of Pittsburgh - Online Division covers the basics of interior space planning, making it the perfect choice to quickly apply your skills in the residential planning field.
Geared toward working adults (preferably with a college degree and professional experience) interested in self-enrichment, the diploma program in Residential Planning helps to prepare students for growing opportunities in residential planning and sales consultation by providing them with the opportunity to gain drawing, drafting and computer skills.
This program is designed to provide students entry-level skills needed for interior space planning and design with the ability to further their career by studying a specific area to specialize in. Students in this program will be taught the basics of interior space planning, including textiles, historic and contemporary styles, space planning, kitchen and bath planning, drafting and computer-aided design.
Additionally, credits earned may be transferred to the Interior Design Bachelor’s Degree program at The Art Institute of Pittsburgh - Online Division.
